Session Questions

Below are a few common questions regarding our therapy sessions

We recommend attending sessions once a week, depending on the nature of the issue we offer short term or long term treatment. Our short term therapy refers to a length 3-6 months, while long term refers to 6 months onward. Our sessions are 45 minutes for individuals and 60 minutes for couples and families.

The payment methods we accept are credit cards, online payment services, checks and cash.

We have a 48-hour/2-day cancellation policy, in order to cancel or reschedule sessions. Canceling without proper notice will incur a full fee of the session.

Insurance Questions

Below are a few common questions regarding insurance

No, we do not accept any insurance. However, most of our clients use their insurance out-of-network benefits to get reimbursed for therapy sessions.

Your insurance may reimburse you for therapy sessions if you have out-of-network benefits. To find out what is covered please call your insurance and ask the following questions:

  • Does my plan have out-of-network coverage?

  • What percent will be covered if I see a therapist who is out-of-network?

  • Do I have a deductible (out of pocket cost) to meet before coverage starts?

  • Is there anything currently toward the deductible?

You can send the receipt from the therapist, directly to your insurance or we highly recommend using the REIMBURSIFY App, which handles all the out of network claims.

Your insurance will not reimburse you for any of the session fee. If you have a financial hardship, send us an email through our contact form and explain this information.

We offer limited appointments for low fee sessions, depending on what each therapist has available. Please send an email through our contact form and specify what you need.

Our Approach

We combine the following practices to our individual therapy:

Holistic & Transpersonal Therapy integrates the Body, Mind, and Spiritual connection and how it connects us to our sense of self, others, and a higher spiritual element.
Psychodynamic & Psychoanalytic theory examines how the past influences the present, through many of family of origin issues, and talking about feelings that might come up in the therapist-patient relationship.

Somatic/Body Centered and Mindfulness techniques brings the experiences of your feeling senses to become more self-aware. Through exercises such as guided visualization or breath-work, we explore the feelings of your body’s presence.

Relational Therapy provides you with a chance to develop a sense of self where you can realize how your attitude, feelings, and behavior are perceived by others.

Gestalt Therapy is a style of therapy which emphasizes personal responsibility and focusing of the present moment, the therapist-client relationship, other unconscious of ourselves, using techniques to analyze dreams and role-play.
